Izgrađen na inovativnim temeljima višestruko hvaljenog Novation Peak polifonskog desktop synthesizera, Summit sadržava tri oscilatora po glasu.16-glasovni keyboard synth namijenjen profesionalnim i polu-profesionalnim glazbenicima koji traže inspirativni i osnažujući instrument za svirku u studiju ili na svirci uživo.

Zapravo, Summit efektivno pruža snagu dva Peak syntha direktno ispod Vaših prstiju, što Vam omogućava da dva potpuno nezavisna patcha budu razdvojena ili raslojena po tipkovnici, ili Vam pruža mogućnost vršenja selekciju između u trenu.

Ovaj synth također proširuje korisničko sučelje Peak modela s mnogim ‘skrivenim’ kontrolama i funkcijama koje su učinjene dostupnim na prednjoj ploči – FM usmjeravanje, LFO 3 i 4, arpeggijator postavke, itd. – plus dodatak pitch i mod kotačića. Summit također sadržava mnoštvo novih filter opcija, audio ulaz za obradu vanjskih izvora sa reverb, chorus i delay efektima.

U samom srcu Summit syntha nalaze se tri digitalna New Oxford oscilatora po glasu smještena unutar FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) čipa. Kao i generiranje autentičnih valnih oblika u analognom stilu pri izuzetno visokoj rezoluciji, ovo također olakšava FM i wavetable sintezu za dizajniranje bogatih, kompleksnih i izuzetno tekstualnih sirovih tonova.

Svaki glas ulazi u pravu stereo signalnu putanju koja obuhvaća dvostruke analogne filtere, tri razine analogne distorzije i analogne VCA-e; dok bogatstvo modulacijskih mogućnosti i tri šarena efekta donose pokret, život i oblikovanje Vaših patchova.

“Built on the innovative foundations of Novation’s critically acclaimed Peak, Summit is a three-oscillator-per-voice, 16-voice keyboard synth aimed at the professional or semi-professional musician seeking an inspiring, empowering instrument for use both live and in the studio. In fact, Summit effectively puts the power of two Peaks at your fingertips, enabling two completely independent patches to be split or layered across the keyboard, or switched between on the fly. It also expands on Peak’s layout, with many ‘hidden’ controls and functions made accessible on the front panel – FM routing, LFOs 3 and 4, all arpeggiator parameters and more – plus the addition of pitch and mod wheels. Summit also features numerous new filter options, and an audio input for processing external sources with its reverb, chorus and delay effects.

At the heart of Summit are three digital New Oxford Oscillators per voice, hosted on the FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) chip. As well as generating authentic analogue-style waveforms at incredibly high resolution, this also facilitates FM and wavetable synthesis for the design of rich, complex and highly textural raw tones. Each voice feeds into a true stereo signal path comprising dual analogue filters, three stages of analogue distortion and analogue VCAs; while a wealth of modulation assignment options and three colourful effects bring movement, life and polish to your patches.
